Welcome to my New Website
With the Christmas party season on the horizon and in preparation for a big new year ahead, Write Content decided it was time to “zoosh” ourselves up a little…
Have you ever stood in front of your wardrobe, listened to a favourite playlist, or cooked from one of those gluten free, vegan recipe books you bought during your ‘healthy’ phase and thought, this just isn’t me anymore?
I have. And if you’re like me, you probably find it just a teensy bit daunting.
Daunting because it means you now have do something. Like trapse through shops filled with hideous 80′s and 90′s inspired fashion and try on ten things that don’t fit, just to find one that does. Or, top up your health insurance to a level that covers clogged arteries and dead stomach flora that can result from one too many tasty burgers (gasp!) slipping past your lips.
Discovering that you need a change is also a little bit daunting, or even scary because you don’t always know what would be better. What to do, what to choose, (or eat!) instead. And if you did change, would you regret it and just want all your old stuff back?
A couple of weeks ago Write Content had one of these moments. I wrote some new content, previewed the changes and thought to myself, this just isn’t me anymore.
I knew I needed to do something. A new look, a more artistic logo, something that reflected my personality as well as the work Write Content produce. That wasn’t so scary.
But exactly what would that look like? What colour? What shape? Should it be realistic? Abstract, or a cartoon maybe? Arghh!
Drawing on the experience of several wardrobe overhauls to give me strength, I did what you have to do in these situations – I wrote a list (a.k.a brief ) and went shopping (a.k.a. research).
After several cans of Mother and few skypeversations with the clever crowd at Radar Media last week we came up with a new logo and a new website for Write Content.
Stay around and take a peek.
Suits us better. Don’t you think?
